Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Catskiller?

The zine aims to create connections, share ideas, and celebrate art within our community — providing a creative outlet for expression through print.

What is important to the Catskiller?

No incitements to violence. No personal attacks on community members. The editors vote on controversial articles.

The Catskiller strives to:

  • Foster open communication among neighbors, and provide a space for communication.

  • Serve as a platform for sharing diverse thoughts, ideas, and concerns that are not explored elsewhere.

  • Maintain a neutral stance, avoiding bias.

  • Transition to a B Corp structure, and ensure employee ownership with governance by an independent board.

  • Tempt people to express themselves

Here’s what we love about the Catskiller: The art, the funny sh*t, learning about people, putting people on the same level.
